Approvals Update: Internal Comments and Internal Notes.
We’ve made it even easier to manage feedback and approvals with your team and clients.
We know how clunky client approvals can get.
Endless back-and-forth. Feedback lost in a Slack thread. Accidentally sharing the wrong comment with the wrong person (we’ve all been there).
We’ve made feedback and approvals with your team and clients a breeze, with a major update to Approvals and Review Links.
Here’s what’s new (and what it actually means):
-
Internal Comments and External Notes.
We've added a clear separation between what your team sees, and what is shown on to your reviewers
Switch between private Internal Comments for your team and reviewer visible External Comments a single click -
Crystal-clear communication
The default message is always Internal, preventing any accidental client facing messages.
External notes are color-coded and easy to spot, so the right people always see the right message—no more mix-ups.
The toggle will reset to internal after a successful External Comment is posted. -
Mention and notify
Tag teammates in comments to get their attention, and keep everyone on the same page. -
Seamless workflow
External Notes are visible in your external review portal, while Internal Comments stay private for your team. - New controls
We've added new controls for users to restrict them from external notes, removing the ability for external notes on individual links, and even hiding status changes on links as well.
Why this matters
We know that the creative process for socials isn't something that everyone wants to share, and the update gives you all the control you need to plan in private, and only share what's needed with finer controls over the entire process
