Boosted Post Insights
Once you boost a post from Sked Social, performance data for that post is available across several views in your account — without leaving Sked or opening Meta Ads Manager.
Important: Sked-boosted posts only
Only posts boosted directly from Sked Social are tracked in the Boosted section. Posts boosted from Instagram or Meta Ads Manager will appear in your Paid Social data, but will not show up in the Boosted view or carry a Boosted badge.
If a post is missing from the Boosted view, check whether it was boosted outside of Sked.
Where to find boosted insights
Boosted performance data appears across five areas of Sked Social:
| Where | What you see |
|---|---|
| Paid Social → Boosted | Full ad-account-level metrics plus individual boosted-post cards for the selected Meta ad account. |
| Paid Social → Overview | A summary teaser of your top boosted-post metrics with a link through to the full Boosted view. |
| Insights → Social Account | A Boosted tab (Facebook and Instagram) for post-level analytics. Boosted posts in the Overview feed are marked with a Boosted badge. |
| Insights → All Accounts | A Paid social analytics table showing Views, Reach, Engagement, Link clicks, and Follows grouped by Meta ad account. Each row links to the Paid Social Boosted view for that account. |
| Archive → Past Ads | Each row in the Past Ads list links directly to the boosted-post view for that post in Account Insights. |
Metrics available
The metrics available depend on the view:
- Views, Reach, Engagement, Link clicks, Follows — shown at ad-account level in All Accounts and Paid Social.
- Post-level metrics — available in the Social Account Boosted tab and the Post Performance modal.
Post Performance modal
Select any boosted-post card to open the Post Performance modal. This shows a detailed breakdown for that post:
- Post preview
- Toggle between All data and Boosted-only metrics
- Ad overview — spend, reach, and objective
- Engagement, goal, and views breakdown
- Profile activity driven by the boost
From the modal you can also start a new boost on the same post using the Boost again button, which opens the boost flow with your previous settings pre-filled.
Prerequisites
To see boosted insights, the following must be in place:
- A Meta Ads account linked to the group (Settings → Groups → [group] → Meta Ads account).
- The Can Boost Posts permission granted to your user (Settings → Team).
- At least one post boosted from the Sked Social Archive.
Insights are scoped to the Meta ad accounts you are authorised to access. If you cannot see data for a specific account, ask your Account Admin to check your ad account access in Group Settings.
Date range
Boosted insights respect the date range selector at the top of each view. Metrics shown reflect the performance of boosts that were active during the selected period, not the original publish date of the post.
Frequently asked questions
A post I boosted from Instagram isn’t showing in the Boosted view. Why?
Only boosts submitted through Sked Social are tracked in the Boosted section. If you boosted the post directly from Instagram or Meta Ads Manager, the spend and impressions will appear in your Paid Social data but the post will not carry a Boosted badge and will not appear in the Boosted tab.
I boosted a post from Sked but I can’t see it in Account Insights.
Check that your Meta Ads account is linked to the correct group (Settings → Groups) and that your date range covers the period the boost was active. If the boost was submitted recently, allow a few hours for Meta to return performance data.
Can I see boosted performance for accounts in a Brand Group?
The Brand Group view shows a Boosted badge on boosted posts in the organic feed, but does not show aggregate paid metrics at Brand Group level. For ad-account-level metrics, use Insights → All Accounts or navigate to Paid Social.
