If you are consistently getting a 'connection failed' error when uploading files, it may be that your firewall is blocking our connection to Amazon Web Services.

By default, we upload from your computer directly to Amazon's file storage โ€“ this way uploads are a lot faster as it uses their global network of servers to speed up the file transfer.

Some firewalls however block this request to Amazon. As a result, you can disable the accelerated file transfers.

To disable transfer acceleration, go to settings>account details>show/hide advanced settings at the bottom and then check the box next to "disable accelerated file transfers".

Your uploads may be slightly slower as you will then need to upload to our servers and we will then send the file to Amazon, but unfortunately we can't adjust corporate firewall settings!
