Coming Soon: A fresh new look, a rebuilt mobile app, and more

Product Updates for February 2026

Over the next coming weeks, we’re rolling out several updates to Sked, all aimed at making it easier for you to plan, collaborate, and manage your social channels wherever you are.

This announcement pulls everything together, giving you a quick overview of all the new updates coming soon.

TL;DR: What’s new this month

Here’s a quick summary of the updates:

  • Coming soon: Sked’s new mobile app lets you create, plan, approve, and publish content. You can also reply to all your DMs and comments, all without interrupting your Sked workflow.
  • Coming Soon: Sked is getting a new fresh look with the same great features, but a cleaner and more modern design.
  • Coming Soon: Ideas is Sked’s new AI-powered creative workspace. It helps keep your content ideas in line with your brand and strategy, and makes it easy to turn them into finished posts.

Here's a closer look at what’s new and what it means for you:

The Sked Mobile App just got better.

The Sked mobile app for iOS and Android is about to get a major performance upgrade. We're rebuilding it from scratch to better support your daily workflow.

Now you can plan content across multiple channels, schedule posts, manage content creation, review pending approvals, and engage with your community—all in one app. This way, your work keeps moving even when you’re away from your desk.

What you'll be able to do with the new Sked mobile app

  • Easily plan, edit, and schedule content straight from your phone.
  • Upload content straight into the media library. You no longer need to airdrop, download, or switch devices to manage your media.
  • Keep your conversations moving with our unified inbox. You can reply to DMs and comments, assign conversations to teammates, and use on-device AI to answer Google reviews.
  • See accurate previews for formats like 4:5 images and 9:16 vertical videos using the visual planner for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Work with clients and colleagues and make your approvals process smoother, all within the app. You’ll get notifications when a post is approved, a comment is left, or a post fails, so you can respond right away.

Sked’s Updated Design

We're introducing a fresh new look to Sked! This is not a platform overhaul. It now has all the same great functionality, with a cleaner, more modern design.

You’ll notice better spacing, clearer organization, and subtle design updates that make planning, reviewing, and managing content feel smoother throughout. The way you work in Sked hasn’t changed. It just looks cleaner and is easier to navigate.

Ideas

We’re introducing Ideas, a new creative workspace built to help social teams move from ideas to strategy to execution.

Ideas gives you a dedicated space to capture, shape, and develop content ideas with brand-aware AI. This keeps your ideas aligned with your goals, voice, and strategy, instead of being scattered across notes, screenshots, or different tools.

Instead of starting from scratch every time, Ideas helps you:

  • Capture ideas as they come up and keep them connected to your strategy.
  • Use branded AI to generate, refine, and expand ideas in your tone of voice.
  • Collaborate on ideas before they become posts.
  • Move ideas seamlessly from concept through to scheduled content.

By keeping ideation inside Sked, Ideas creates a clear path from strategic thinking to content planning and execution. This helps social media managers stay aligned, consistent, and focused as they grow their content.

Ideas will launch soon. We’ll share a detailed walkthrough and a webinar when they’re ready. For now, you can sign up for early access here.

Why this matters

Social media managers don’t struggle because they lack ideas or tools. The real challenge is that work gets scattered, decisions stall, and good content is lost between strategy, planning, execution, and engagement. Updates are part of a broader shift to address that.

The refreshed design makes daily work easier to scan, prioritize, and manage. The rebuilt mobile app means your work keeps going even when you’re away from your desk, so approvals, conversations, and decisions don’t stop. And Ideas (coming soon) helps solve a big challenge for social teams: keeping content ideas aligned with strategy and following them through to execution.

All these changes are designed to give social media managers one place to manage their work from start to finish. You can go from the first idea to planning, collaboration, publishing, and engagement, without needing disconnected tools, workarounds, or last-minute stress.
