How to save a draft reply in Inbox

You can write a reply to a comment or DM in Sked Social Inbox and save it without sending – storing it against the conversation to review and send later.

Save a reply as a draft

  1. Open a conversation in Inbox.
  2. Write your reply in the message box.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Send button.
  4. Select Save as draft.

The draft is saved against that conversation. It does not send.

Find and edit your draft

Open the conversation again. The unsaved draft appears in the reply area, ready to edit.

From here you can:

  • Edit the text and save again
  • Send draft to publish the reply immediately

See all conversations with draft replies

Create a feed filtered to show only conversations that have a draft waiting.

  1. Create a new feed and give it a name (e.g. Draft replies).
  2. Add the social accounts you want to monitor.
  3. Enable the Drafts filter.
  4. Save the feed.

The feed shows every conversation with an unsent draft. Open any one, review the reply, and hit send.

Using draft replies with AI agents

Draft replies work with Sked Social's AI tooling. An agent can write replies across multiple conversations and save them all as drafts. You then open the Draft replies feed, review each one, and send when you're happy.

This keeps a human in the loop before anything goes public, without slowing down the drafting step.

Notes

  • Draft replies are stored per conversation. A conversation can have multiple saved drafts.
  • Drafts are only visible to your team inside Sked Social – they are not visible to the original commenter or sender until you send.
  • A user must have access to the social account to view stored replies to an associated conversation.
