Ideas on your Calendar, and adding to your scratchpad

Planning shouldn't live in a silo. By bringing Ideas directly onto your Sked Calendar, you can visualize your entire content strategy in one place—mapping out future campaigns alongside your already scheduled posts. It’s the easiest way to spot gaps in your schedule before they become a last-minute scramble, giving you a 360-degree view of your brand's social presence.

Ideas on the calendar

You can add Ideas directly to specific days on the Sked Calendar, which is perfect for flagging content gaps or sketching out a quarterly strategy. We’ve visually updated this to be distinct from the Add Note function, so you’ll never confuse a quick reminder with a strategic post concept.

Showing ideas on the calendar

By default, any Idea with a proposed publishing date appears on your calendar alongside your scheduled posts. This gives you a complete view of your planned content, regardless of whether a post is fully scheduled, in approvals, or still just a "spark" you're refining.

Filling these planning gaps gives you the full picture, no matter what stage of creation a post is in. Plus, AI Create can automatically assign dates to ideas, filling out your calendar weeks or months in advance with concepts for key dates and holidays.

Any ideas added this way will also appear in your Scratchpad inside the Ideas workspace, ready for you to build out whenever you're ready.
