Posting more than 280 characters on X

How Sked manages X premium subscriptions and captions longer than 280 characters

For basic/free accounts, X limits posts to 280 characters. If your post exceeds 280 characters, Sked won’t let you save or schedule it because X would reject it when we go to publish your post.

On X Premium?
X Premium removes the 280-character limit. When Sked recognizes your account as Premium, longer posts are good to go.

Just upgraded to X Premium?
Sked checks your subscription when you first connect your account, so it won’t pick up the change automatically. Reconnect your X account via Settings → Accounts and your Premium status will update.

Downgraded from X Premium?
Sked may not catch the change straight away. You’ll still be able to schedule posts over 280 characters, but X will reject them at publish time. Reconnecting your account will bring everything back in sync.
