Connecting Instagram Accounts with Advanced Protection to Sked Social
This article will explain what Instagram's advanced protection is and how to connect Instagram accounts with this feature enabled to Sked Social.
What is Instagram's Advanced Protection?
Instagram's Advanced Protection Program is a robust security initiative tailored for accounts at elevated risk, such as those with substantial followings or significant influence. It fortifies account security to safeguard against unauthorized access, hacking, and phishing threats. A hallmark of this program is the mandatory use of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), ensuring continuous protection for enrolled accounts.
Connecting Instagram accounts with Advanced Protection to Sked Social
Great news for Sked Social users: our platform fully supports Instagram’s 2FA! Instagram offers two 2FA methods—text message verification and authentication apps—with the latter being Instagram’s preferred and more secure option. Sked Social seamlessly integrates with the authentication app method.
If you’re currently using text message-based 2FA, transitioning is straightforward. Simply set up 2FA via an authentication app, copy the 32-digit key provided by Instagram during setup, and input it into Sked Social. For step-by-step guidance, refer to our comprehensive guide:

Once the authentication app is configured and linked to Sked Social, you can disable the text message option and reconnect your account to ensure a smooth setup. If you encounter any challenges, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team, or schedule a call here!
