Agent seats explained

An agent seat lets one person connect their AI agent, such as Claude, to Sked Social with the full set of tools. All users can connect and start without a seat.

What an agent seat is

An agent seat belongs to one person. It authorises that person's agent to work in their Sked Social account on their behalf, using their permissions and nothing more. If your team has five people who each want to connect Claude with the full toolset, you need five agent seats.

The limited set is available to everyone on an eligible plan, so you can connect, try it out and see what your agent can do before you add a seat.

How agent seats work

  • One seat, one person. Each seat is tied to a named person and their Sked Social login. Seats aren't shared between people.
  • Your agent, your permissions. You authorise your agent with a normal Sked Social sign-in. It can see and do only what your own account can.
  • Every action is logged. Anything your agent does is recorded against "[Your name]'s Agent", so your team can always tell what was done by a person and what was done by an agent.
  • A person sends. Your agent can draft Inbox replies, but it can't send them. Sending stays with you.

Pricing and adding a seat

An agent seat is $35USD/month per seat, or the local equivalent. It's added to your plan as an add-on.

To add agent seats to your plan:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Select Manage Plan.
  3. Add the agent seat add-on and choose how many seats you need.
  4. Confirm the change.

Managing and assigning agent seats

Once seats are on your plan, you give them to people from the MCP settings page.

  1. Go to Settings → MCP.
  2. Find your agent seats. You'll see how many you have and who each one is assigned to.
  3. Assign a seat to a team member. That person can now connect their agent with the full set of tools.
  4. To move a seat to someone else, remove it from the current person and assign it to the new one.

If you need more seats than you have, go back to Manage Plan and add more.

Questions

Do I need an agent seat to connect Claude? No. Anyone on an eligible plan can connect and use the limited set of tools. An agent seat unlocks the full set.

Can my team share one seat? No. A seat is tied to one person and their login, so each person who wants the full toolset needs their own.

Can I setup a single agent that handles autonomous work across all accounts? Yes, you can use a single agent seat that performs actions across your workspace, but they will always be attributed to [User name]'s Agent, and tied to a user.

Can I change the name shown in the activity feed to something generic or remove agent from the naming?
No. Agent actions are always records against a user, and show as [User name]'s agent.

Can my agent see more than I can? No. Your agent works with your account's permissions, never more.

How do I tell what my agent did? Every action is logged against "[Your name]'s Agent", so it's easy to tell apart from your own.

Can my agent send replies in the Inbox? It can draft them. A person always sends.
